For 35 years we have operated our own unique Galapagos workshops, with an educational emphasis and a focus on spending longer in the islands, more time on shore daily, earlier morning landings and later afternoon returns to catch the best behavior and light, snorkeling, kayaking… We truly believe we offer the best programs and best routings in the islands!

Along the way we have added a few additional destinations that we could bring our unique style to. Collaborating with local experts we operate occasional in depth adventures to Madagascar, Tanzania, Chile & Easter Island, and Cuba.

We also partner with several small expedition ship operators to market a few extraordinary programs to regions otherwise difficult to experience, but so worth the effort:

• Antarctica, including the Peninsula, South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, or the Weddell Sea,
• Indonesia, including Raja Ampat
• Melanesia: Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu

• New Zealand and Australian sub-Antarctic Islands

• Central America: Costa Rica and Panama

• Spitsbergen in the Norwegian High Arctic

• Northern Lights expedition

Following is a calendar of our scheduled workshops and tours through 2025 and beyond, plus a few highlighted expeditions from our fellow operators. Where will you go next?

Active Galapagos

8 days on board.

In cooperation with our sister agency, CNH Tours, we are running several departures throughout 2024 and 2025. Our Active Galapagos trips are designed for those keen on getting up early and getting the absolute most “Galapagos” out of their time in the islands. Plenty of snorkeling and extended time at visitor sites, ensuring you get a chance to soak it all in. Our early morning and late afternoon excursions, combined with a slow, deliberate pace is also ideal for those intent on photography.

We use a very well-managed 14 passenger ship, the Samba. Galapagos family owned and operated, it has 6 kayaks and 2 paddleboards for exploring coastal ecosystems.

From US$3,950 (shared - cruise only option, departures to August 2024).

February 2025

Rapa Nui is the easternmost extent of Polynesia, more than 2,000 miles from the nearest neighbors. The Rapanui people thrived in their isolation, creating a culture unlike any other. Nearly 1,000 carved stone moai bear witness to this, as do the ceremonial platforms, petroglyphs, cave art and more. For 10 days each year Rapa Nui cuts loose and celebrates their cultural heritage through song, dance, native crafts, and historically symbolic although very quirky sporting events. 11 days • from apx. $6,000 (final price TBC).

We are currently finalizing the details of this trip.

Pantanal - Jaguars, tapirs, giant macaws

September 2025 (tbc)

The Pantanal is known for a wide diversity of wildlife - but the most iconic is the jaguar. This is where you are most likely to encounter them - face to face. Beyond the jaguar, we hope to spot the biggest rodent in the world (capybara), the biggest mammal in the South America (tapir), the biggest parrot (Hyacinth macaw), howler monkeys, giant anteaters, giant river otters and some of the more than 600 species of birds. The Pantanal is without any doubt one of those special places on Earth to observe wildlife.

Provence Discovery

(20 Sept - 4 Oct 2025 / $7,175 per person shared)

While Provence, in the south of France, is not considered an iconic "nature" destination, the region is very well endowed with beautiful landscapes, where over thousands of years, humans seem to have found a very nice balance between nature and culture.

Olives, figs, vines, lavender - all are carefully tended among ancient perched villages, forest of oak and pine, jagged rocky hills and mountains. Colourful village markets show off the local produce - from a great variety of fruits and vegetables, to cheeses and olives, local wines, arts and crafts and more.

We’ve booked three luxury villas and over a period of 15 days, 14 guests will explore the best of what this iconic part of the world has to offer.
